Social Proof is a feature that displays how many people have used your TAP Feed — helping build trust and encourage more prospects to engage.
💡 What is social proof?
Social proof is the idea that people are more likely to take action when they see others doing the same. In the context of TAP, it shows prospects that many others have already used your Feed to connect with ambassadors and learn about student life.

- Reinforces the value of your Feed to new visitors
⚙️ How does it work?
You can enable Social Proof in your Feed settings via the admin dashboard:
The message displayed depends on how many new users (first-time visitors) your Feed has had since 29 April 2020:

0–200 | No message shown |
201–500 | “Join hundreds who have gained first-hand insights into life at [Institution Name]” |
500+ | “Join [XXX] people who have gained first-hand insights into life at [Institution Name]” |
