A quick overview of how to review and edit your ambassadors' profile text and and add tags in the Admin Dashboard.
In this article we're going to outline how to review and approve your ambassador profiles. When a new profile is created, you will be notified via email.
It's important for you to be able to edit the bio text and first message on your ambassador profiles so that you can make any small changes quickly, without having to ask the ambassador to go back and edit it.
You can change the text if there are any typos or spelling errors and also stay on brand if, for example, you have a certain way of spelling or capitalizing certain words.
In the Ambassador List, simply select 'View Profile' and then you can edit the Profile Information and the First Message.
Y
ou can also add tags to the profile. Tags help to group profiles and content together with relevant terms, for example, 'Philosophy Students', 'Commuter Students', 'UG Offer Holder Campaign 2020'. These will be hidden tags, but when a student searches on the TAP Feed, 'Commuter Students', any profiles with this tag will be displayed. You can also use tags to create filtered TAP Feed links for specific campaigns, promotions and drop downs. You can read more about tagging here.
When you are happy with the Ambassador Profile, you can activate them for Chat which will show their profile on your TAP Feed. They will automatically be activated for Content and FAQ so that they can get started submitting content for you.
As always, let us know if you have any questions via our support chat on the Admin Dashboard, or email us at support@theambassadorplatform.com 😊
