How can I block prospects on TAP?

TAP is designed to support safe, respectful conversations between ambassadors and prospects. If inappropriate behaviour occurs, admins have the ability to block prospects to protect users and maintain a positive environment.

How to Block a Prospect

In order to block a prospect, following the instructions below:

  1. Head to Settings > Spaces.
  2. If the prospect was in a specific Community space, select that community. Otherwise, select your 'Public Space' (i.e. your TAP Feed) and click on the Users icon.

  3. Find the user in question and click on the padlock icon to block them.

    You can unblock them at any point by clicking on the same icon.

How Blocking Works

When a prospect is blocked:

  • They receive an email notification and a system message in the chat
  • Ambassadors involved in the conversation also see a system message
  • The prospect’s messages are hidden across all chats
  • They can no longer participate in any conversations
